Your trip will depart from Bangkok early to make the one-and-a-half hour journey north towards Ayutthaya by private, luxury van. We will spend the morning exploring the prime sites and lesser-known gems on the way.
The day includes a bicycle ride for the adventurous (our favorite!), riverside lunch, a chartered longtail boat ride and some surprises along the way. There is a dress code recommendation for Buddhist sites in Ayutthaya of shirts that cover shoulders, and shorts/skirts that cover the knees. No beach sandals, but sport sandals with straps around the heel are okay. It takes approximately 1.5 hours each way to Ayutthaya. Bicycle riding is optional and can cover up to 15 kilometers on flat, paved roads.
